Tomorrow is the big day! I am so excited. I have 3 classes and plenty of money to blow at the vendor fair! I am taking the Latest & Greatest w/ Basic Grey, Jacob's Ladder w/ SEI and a Quick Quotes class! Did any of you go to the convention this year? What were your highlights? Fill me in on all of the details!!!
Okay everybody..... I am very excited to present to you my first challenge!
What I want you to do is to find a sketch that looks challenging for 3 or more photos. Then, I want you to do 2 different versions of it as 12x12 layouts.
I will be judging you based on the sketch you chose, techniques used, creativity and over all quality of both layouts.
When you are finished, email me a photo of your sketch and both of your layouts by May 25th: kmoncld@yahoo. I will announce the winner on June 1st as well as display the winners work in the "Hall of Fame" on my blog. *There must be at least 3 participants.*
The winner will receive all of these wonderful products:
Sorry girls! I work on the weekends and Monday is going to be swamped.... I am going to post a challenge along w/ a picture of the prize on Tuesday. It will be fun! I really appreciate everyone visiting my blog and showing interest:)
I stepped outside the box for this one. I am very intimidated by doodling. I'm worried it won't look good, what about all of the unevenness, it's never ending. One day I was teaching my little sister, Angelique, a mini album class and she drew adorable block letters. I loved hers so much that I had to try it for myself. I also drew doodle lines around all the patterned paper squares.
My challenge to you is to step outside your box. Do something on a layout that overwhelms you!
