All Things Challenging #1

Okay everybody..... I am very excited to present to you my first challenge!

What I want you to do is to find a sketch that looks challenging for 3 or more photos. Then, I want you to do 2 different versions of it as 12x12 layouts.

I will be judging you based on the sketch you chose, techniques used, creativity and over all quality of both layouts.

When you are finished, email me a photo of your sketch and both of your layouts by May 25th: kmoncld@yahoo. I will announce the winner on June 1st as well as display the winners work in the "Hall of Fame" on my blog. *There must be at least 3 participants.*

The winner will receive all of these wonderful products:

These Are A Few of My Favorite Things

For this layout I painted the background. I also did some doodling for the border. I challenge you to take photos of 3 of your favorite things and do a layout about them.

My Nephew Kamdin

I stepped outside the box for this one. I am very intimidated by doodling. I'm worried it won't look good, what about all of the unevenness, it's never ending. One day I was teaching my little sister, Angelique, a mini album class and she drew adorable block letters. I loved hers so much that I had to try it for myself. I also drew doodle lines around all the patterned paper squares.

My challenge to you is to step outside your box. Do something on a layout that overwhelms you!
